Rural, by the lake, with a terrace. Cozy, welcoming and nice staff. To my surprise, the food was impeccable and really tasty. The kitchen is great and the prices completely humane. Another favorite restaurant for me. The bowling alley is also a welcome change!

Very cozy restaurant with hearty cuisine. Prices are more than reasonable for the quality and size of the portions. You can sit on the terrace with a view of the lake or in the restaurant. Both beautiful. I like the house pick-me-up: horseradish schnapps with pickles! Simply delicious! In addition, the beer of the “natives” is served here: Baben beer from Lübbenau, delicious! We'll be back on our next stay!

Best restaurant in the whole area! Great food, for suitable prices with a nice atmosphere. But you always have to reserve a table because they are small and very well booked.

It is not recommended to reserve in the high season. The potato nest is very popular and not without reason. The food is excellent. A varied, manageable menu and all 5 dishes that we tried there were perfectly prepared. The drinks menu could use a little more variety and the staff is clearly overloaded, which affects the friendliness. But there were no long waiting times and the freely accessible swimming lake can only be recommended. We would love to come back!

The food was fantastic freshly prepared, you had to wait a moment, but it was worth it. And then the view of the lake. When you are back in the area, in any case you will come back there.👍

Other ambience with very good regional cuisine, good portions and very friendly staff. There is a lovely terrace overlooking the lake. There are also two bowling lanes.

After a long bike tour we stopped at the potato nest and were warmly received by the team. (in Corona times only with reservation) It is a small, nice and quaint restaurant. The card, which I personally find good, is kept small. The food on offer is fresh and very well prepared. There is something for every taste, the food is big enough that nobody has to go home hungry. Thank you for a nice evening.

The visit is worthwhile! Authentic, friendly and very cozy. The kitchen is really good. The card entry "Meals to be satisfied" must be taken seriously! 👍🏻😁 The food and ingredients, as well as the beer (Babben) are from the region and of high quality. The prices are reasonable and the ambience very cozy. On the terrace with a wonderful view over the lake.

We went when it was hammering down with rain. One of the prettiest lake side locations in the warm wooden cabin. Good menu, perhaps slightly too large portions. V satisfied w it.

A very nice atmosphere. Food tasted good, many nice side dishes on the plate, which I found extremely great. Unfortunately absolutely no play area for the very small ones. For us at the moment a small minus point. Let's see how it is in summer, when the directly adjacent beach is also shared. Definitely worth a visit.

Although it clearly states in the main door that it's open until 22h, we went there to have just a beer, not even dinner, when we were staying at the nearby camping and they refused to serve us saying that it was already closed even though the outside terrace was full of people. Really bad experience.

Very inflexible, poor!
